So I was thinking, and I might want to get a Fluval EBI Shrimp tank.
I might want to get some Green Neon Tetras in with some Red Cherry Shrimp, and I was wondering if they'd get a long and how many of each I could get in the 7.9 Gallon tank.

Thanks!

Seems a little small for the neons, maybe you could source some Micro Rasbora's? The emerald ones for instance?

I want something that'd stand out. Are there any like, very vibrant colored fish that would fit in 7.9 gallons?

mosquito rasboras stand out, mine are bright red. I have 6 in that exact tank ur talking about. link is in my signature. they are great little fish!

Yeah, that's true. That's why I liked the green neons. They stood out, but were a totally different color from the shrimps. And I thought that since the green neon were so small, I could easily get like, 6 in there.

Try it mate... Trial and error is the name of the game i find. Sometimes it works, sometimes it dont.

I think I will. So would you say that like, 6 Green Neons and 10 RCS would be good? Or should I go for less RCS?

The Shrimp won't cause any issues, so 10 should be fine. They will soon multiply anyway! :good: You will need alot of moss though for them to hide amongst and lay their eggs in.

Try 6 Neons.
