Tonight i was trying to feed the betta so i lay food in my hand he didnt come for it, anyway i then fed him he just dived for it lol!
I sat my hand in the water and wiggled my fingers and shimmer came up and swam on my hand, when i wiggle my fingers he puts his body their so i tickle his body, im really starting to communicate with him, its lovely!
Share your memories here too!!! :D

Wow thats lovely...

My bettas are so boring.... Bubbles swims away to hide when ever I open the lid of the tank. But he does swim to the front...

With peach the best thing I have seen him do it jump out of his breeding net and into main tank to chase the tetras and try to kill them... he has no chance but it was funny to watch for 5 mins till i thought it was best to put him back in

The first time Radish fed from my hand i nearly knocked the tank lid off because i jumped lol, i was just about to drop the pellet in the water and he looked at it wiggled him bum and jumped for it, he caught me by suprise and i gasped and nearly broke my tank light! Then i decided to let him do it it felt like a little sucking hehe i've let him do it ever since but i still jump somtimes

I don't hand feed The Captain though not since my boyfriend tried feeding him some cucumber and he took a good 2 cm out of it in one bite, my boyfriend and his dad hand feed him and even get him to jump which is odd for a disabled betta but he's really happy to do it, i like my fingers the way they are thank you

My favourite moments have been, him following my finger along the glass, him following my finger in and around the tank. A special moment when had hands in the tank and he kept wrapping himself around me like a cat. And oh oh! When doing a water change and he rested on my fingers! And of course when he did his two bubble nests.

yep I am infactuated. He will handfeed bloodworm. Occasionally he will let me "stroke" him, not proper but he loves me and I certainly love him.

They are really intelligent, he does seem to recognise the difference between me and my partner. He is more active with me and has a more relaxed "we are the lads attitude" with Alex (occasionally watching computer screen. Felt guilty when deliberately made him flare with a mirror and after I had taken it away he blamed me for the rest of the morning. Anytime I went near the tank he would flare at me and calm down if Alex was near.. lol

He is too cool for school!
