HI I currently own a male dwarf gourami. My rainbow shark was getting aggressive with him so I took him to my LFS and traded him for a pair of 5in. Blue gouramis! I named the male Ricky and the female Lucy. I really like them but they start going crazy whenever I walk into the room. Why are they doing this? They are in a 40g tank with a baby hi fin spotted plec. The dwarf is now in a 10g with some corries.

Give them time to settle in. Also, I suspect they are still young - you may want to consider adding another couple of females as the male will eventualy start picking on his girl.
