Gravid Spot

Well tonight I think I saw my Swordtails mating If I am correct, how soon will it be before a Gravid Spot appears? Will it slowly appear or just one day it'll just kinda pop up?

Gravid spots dont just pop up or something gravid spots are on females when they're born it just indacates if they're pregnant or not and the more darker it gets the more close to giving birth she is. and you may see soem spots on the gravid sometimes those are the eyes of the fry

HOw long til she drops? about 22-30 days =) good luck

gravid spot will start to get darker several days to a week in, and gradually darken until she drops.
