Gravid Spot In Guppys

Hi all

I have several pregnant guppys.
All have the gravid spot but i was just wondering if it changes colour?
I have one Guppy that had a huge black Gravid patch and had a very fat belly.
The past couple of days the gravid patch has gone slightly orange!!
Is this normal?
Im new to all of this.

in my experiance with platies. when the gravid spot gets darker and lowers towards the bumb.. they are ready to trop very very soon. i can also see tiny eyes as it lowers. so it should just get darker maybe a slight color to it. but like i said, i'm not that sure of guppies only platies. i hope this helps

umm.
right now i have 2 pregnant guppies.
one at the start, it was lightish ans stuff.
now its gotten darker and more blackerer.
at the start.. it was a bit orange and stuff.
but i think it`s normal.
nothing to worry about.
just see what happenss.

its pretty normal i have found that light also effects the colour as it would appear orange or red when lights just turned on then would be black by the end of the day

At least its normal, she still not had any fry yet.

I have a pregnant guppy and dwarf platy! I have been thinking they were going to drop now FOREVER!!! But as of yet, they have not.
My guppys gravid spot is a gray/black color but has not "squared off yet".
However, my dwarf platy seems to have squared off. But I had read somewhere that the platy (which is a golden color) should have a DARK gravid spot like the guppy... However my dwart platys gravid spot does NOT seem to be getting darker. Tho I can see eyes in her tummy, I do not see the spot getting any darker!
I cannot wait to see the fry!!!
I have seen guppy fry before, but never platys (especially dwarf platys). I already have a separate tank set up for the fry once they are born.
I CANT WAIT!!!
