Gravel Vacuum With Baby Assassin Snails?

I've just spotted 3 teeny tiny assassin snails on top of my gravel, they quickly disappeared again but now im wondering can I still vac my gravel because I don't want to kill them?

They are in my piranha tank so vacuuming is a must really, I usually just pick out the adults to make sure I don't kill them ;-)

Tip your old water through a sieve before you chuck it out; you should be able to pick the baby assassins out then

I use a white bucket and can check as I spill it (they fall to the bottom of the bucket).  I've only ever had one end up in the bucket and I have easily 100 babies in there... hoping for a summer of selling them this year!
