how much can i expect to pay for the above ,and will it work alright on my other tank that has sand in it,thanks for any replies
hi i said id let you no how it went with my gravel vac ... argh ..
1) vac brought from pets at home told to buy medium for my 64 litre tank definatly should have got a smaller one .
2) it was hard to master have to pump it first then water came out so quick done 50% in no time still not cleaned half way round ,
3) everytime water dropped the pump was too long as it had to remain fully submerged which is hard when nearly as tall as tank,
4) tried holding tip of finger over part end to slow water but it made the stones move about less or not at all in the pipe so wasnt rinsing as good.
5) had to remove most items from tank as nosel on bottom of vac so wide ..
guess from this i would advise to check size or rather go smaller as it may take longer but it would have saved me a lot of hassel if i had , ps water left in tank went so cloudy at
first was rather panicking when new water added still cloudy but cleared later on ,now my tank looks so crystal clear ,fishes very happy x
hope it helps , kaz x
