Hi all,

What is the easiest and most readily available plant to use as a substrate cover? - i'm sure there's a specific word for it but the low, grass or moss like cover in fully planted aquariums.

How do you prune and plant them?

Many Thanks,

Jonny.

echindorous tennelus - simply thin out when needed

eleocharis acularis - trim like you do with the lawn, curled tips to the leaves

Eleocharis parvula - (same as acularis) straight leaves
