Grape Wood?

Hi I was just wondering if grape wood (or grape vine wood) was ok to put in a tank. Are there any types of wood or rock that are toxic to guppies? Do I soak the wood before going in and if so how long?

Yes grapewood is safe for aquariums. I have a piece in my aquarium. It has a high concentration of sugar in comparison to other woods, so plecos love it.
 
It will need to be treated and soaked for a week or two, as mold will develop as sugar seeps out. The mold is harmless, and plecos and snails will eat it, if you don't mind the look.
