Gouramis Ratio

just a quick one
going to get some gouramis
pearl or chocolate
do i need a 1 male 1 female ratio or
1 male 3 females

Chocolate's are very difficualt to look after.
They need soft water and mainly live foods.

Pearl's are a easy fish to keep and happily live in a small groupe of 1 male to 2-3 females, and if the have a 3-4 foot tank you could have 2 males as their ok together if they have plenty of space.

i agree on the choc ones.they aren't very big and are very delicate.beautiful fish though.
