Is it normal when you go buy exspensive plants for your gourami to eat it, i swear if he doesnt stop hes going for a long ride down the toilet!!!
hes just rippin it out and it all goes to the surface... he does it for no reason at all.

There's nothing you can do, if he likes em,he likes em. Maybe try adding more veggies to his diet.

Well, I suppose it's a costly lesson. My clown loaches destroyed hundreds of plants, now they live with cichlids with no plants

nah i bought 6 plants, all of which he is destroying.
he was a unwated bday preasant, which i hate with a passon.
with the anger i am feeling right now towards him, he better hope he is good at swimming from a net

Which gourami is it? i'm gussing the pearl?

When you say "spitting them up", is he making a bubble nest? i'v never had any problems with the pearls i'v kept when it comes to combining them with plants.

Don't be too angry towards the fish, theres nothing he/she can do about it maybe try feeding it some vegatables? to deter it from eating the plants?

Its not the gouramis fault, gouramies need a lot of vegitation and if u cant afford 22 dollars of plants well too bad

Feed the gourami more vegetables like Lettuce,Cucumber

Why did u buy him then?
