I added 2 pearl gourmais to my tank 2-3 weeks ago and one has developed a spot on his nose (above his lip under the eye)
which is swollen tender and pink....fleshy looking. Also one half of his bottom lip is swollen pink with a few red spots in it. It seems a little red where his pectoral fins attach to the body. Tried getting pic but too blurry. He is eating and acting normal....looks painful to me.

Set up a 3 gallon tank and hung some biomax next to the filter (internal) and used water from another tank. Hopefully in the morning it will be safe to move him to.

I have on hand:
Melafix
Mardel Maracyn-2 anti-bacterial
Mardel Maroxy for fungus/bacterial
Quick Cure for protozoan & ick (formalin, malachite green)
Aquati-care broad spectrum bactericidal, Amoxicillin 250 mg. caps

I am thinking bacterial but want to check with Y'all first. Which should I use ?

either poor water quality or a bacterial infection.
Any chance of a picture of the fish?

He is now in the hospital tank. Pics aren't great but top left lip looks injured like a wound, white edges (not cottony), bottom left of the lip is swollen, raw, round sore with red in the middle.

Not sure if this is an ulcer, or if it looks this way before mouth starts rotting away ? I need to know so I know what to treat it with.

Its bacterial and you will need to treat with a bacterial med.
Get you some info.

Wounds that are white on the edges and red in the center are most typically Aeromonas. Those that are red on the edges and white in the center are generally Columnaris. Both are gram negative bacteria. The best treatment for this is any sulfa antibiotic with trimetheprim. This can be put in the water and mixed with food -- if you can find Romet B use it.

Thank you !!!!!!!!!

Maracyn-Two is for gram negative and I have it so will use it now. Meanwhile I noticed one of my Phantom Tetras has cloudy eyes ! What's going on ? Everything was fine until I added the live plants. Could that be part of it ? Should I treat the whole tank ??? I also lost a Danio a week or so ago with no symptoms.

I would cover all bases with maracyn one and two.
Cloudy eye is a symtom of a desease not a desease in its own right.
Causes.
Bad water quality.
Stress.
Old age.
Irratation.
Poor diet.
Parasites.
Bacerial infection.

Yes treat the whole tank.
