Noticed my dwarf gouarmi swimming around yesterday with a string of poo hanging off him about 4 inches long... it was like twice as long as him. Is this normal? It wasn't white/clear as far as I could tell, just light brown.

One of my rams recently got very sick with some sort of internal parasite/worms but she seems to have recovered after I dosed Kusuri Wormer Plus two weeks in a row. I'm pretty sure the wormer killed everything as it is good quality stuff and the ram is recovering.

yes thats normal for gouramis they are really messy i couldnt believe it either when i got some it seems thats all they do eat and poo

... was the ram housed in the same tank as the gourami and did you treat the entire tank that the ram lived in?

Also is there any chance of you using the same equipment (siphons, buckets, nets, etc) for the tnak housing the Gourami and the tank housing the ram?

Internal parasites are very contagious and if these fish had contact (directly or indirectly) while the ram had parasites its possible that the gourami is showing early symptoms of I.P. infestation.
