Gourami Problems

Ok so my grandfather bought me some newm plants(amazon sword, dwarf four leaf clovers, cabomba) and two new fish one pearl gourami and one loach and the gourami that i allready had in the tank(10g) is constintly chasing the new one and i think the ones male and the new one a female???

please help!!!

a male will have a pointed dorsal fin and a female will have a rounded one. but 10 gallons is too small for a pearl gourami. try getting a 20 gallon at least. they are on sale at pestco until sunday for 20 bucks.

As above. Also loaches are best kept in groups of 4+. What sort of loach is it? Some (like clown loaches) grow huge - as in like, a foot long, huge.

its definately not a clown loach.. i think the guy at the lfs said that it was an angelic loach or something. it has these like black marks and pale yellow bloches.. it justhide under one of the decorations and stays there for most of the day
