Long story short, I had gourami issues as one was to agressive and killed others. I returned him to the store so I only have 2 gouramis left. a 2 inch gold gourami who I thought was female and my 3 maybe 3&1/2 inch oplain gourami who I know is female.
Just recently I caught my gold gourami making bubbles in the corner of my tank just along the side. He/she would sit there and constintly make bubbles then after a while would leave, they would pop then he/she would go back and make more.
So I have a couple questions in mind of this.
1. Is the gold gourami a female or male?
2. Is it possible that my gourami is a female like I thought and could just be making bubbles for fun
3. Is it actually possible for my two different gouramis to mate if my gourami is in fact a male attempting to make a bubble nest.
