Gourami Be Okay

hi all
i got two three spot gouramis for my tank but one died
will my other be okay on its own or do i need to get him a mate
any advice

This is all i could fined.

The male Blue Gourami and Three-spot Gourami has a longer and more pointed dorsal fin.

its pretty hard to tell but i think i have a female

I am not sure if this kind requires a trio set but I would highly reco it try and get 2 females to 1 male total. 2 Males seems to give aggression problems with them well at least with my experience! 1 alone will do okay but I would reco a trio set of them way better for them.

i would but my tank is looking pretty full and my angels still have too grow
if he'll be fine on his own then i'll just leave him
