Gourami And Plant Id Please

Hope this picture is good enough. At petsmart they had "fire red honey gourami" and I know that that's a different name for honey gourami, I just want to confirm. How big do they grow and can I keep two together? They're in a 29g long (36") with black phantom tetras, glowlight tetras and corydoras habrosus.


And here's the plant. Should I attach to rock or what?

cant help on the plant but the fish looks like a honey gouramis its def not a dwarf its more then likely a a honey

oh and yeh the honeys can be kept in groups and they are smaller then dwarfs but i could be wrong

i think the plant is naja grass, some people call it guppy grass. it is usually floated or planted into the substrate.

Could the gourami possibly be a red thick lipped gourami?
