Gourami Alone

Hi everyone,

I was looking for opinions on how a single opline gourami would do alone in a tank for about three months.

I had initially bought her to go in my 65 planted with my rainbow shark and tiger barbs, but she is extremely shy and docile.

Anyway's at the moment I have her in a 10 gallon tank that was her initial QT tank. She is fine in there and very active, but would having her alone in there 3 month have any ill affects on her? Once the three month are up I plan to move her to my 20 gallon, plant it, get her some friends.

I would mover her sooner but I'm currently stocking my 65 and have two more batches(2 months) then the new fish for her(1 month)

Will she be okay until then?

she will be fine for a couple of months. Just keep the temperature down (22-24C) and don't feed her too much. Then she won't develop eggs and shouldn't become egg bound.
