Got My Skirt Tetras Tonight...

I ended up getting 3 black and 4 white (extra white snuck into the net) They're acclimating at the moment. I think they're a mix between regular and longfinned. A few of them have way longer fins anyway. Just tested my water and everything is fine. They'll be in the 55 shortly. They were acting strange for about 10 mins once I got home but they seemed to have stopped that (were resting on the bottom and had little jerks, stress from the trip home I guess) They're all acting great now. I don't want to start a debate but I decided not to QT these ones as I feel I can trust the store I got them from. It's a Petsmart but they're a very new store and on the smaller side. I've had great luck with them so far.

Now I gotta decide on 7 names! lol

Tank sure looks nicer with all those fish in it! The new tennants seem to like their new home.

Good luck with them. Black Skirts are beautiful when they mature and get over 4 inches.

Thanks! I first saw a black skirt in a friends tank and didn't know what it was, but liked it. Poor guy was all by himself. I think these will look pretty cool since there's a group of them.
