more pics on the way

o yea i actualy found out that it is just under 4 gals i thought it was 3.

i got mine for a pound and i have 5 haha.
il post some more pics soon. i cut some sponge off my cycled sponge from my juwel filter and
squeesed it into my tank hopefully the bacteria etc got in i also left it in on a airstone i put in for
2 mins whilst i was doing this. i have 2 fry in there and loads of flake. the tank should cycle soon

You need to actually put some mature sponge in the filter as i dont think squeezing will do much good as the bacteria is clinging to the surface of the sponge, also if theres alot of food in there it may well kill the fry and they will be quiet sensitive to pollutants in the water.

i think my cory will eat most of the flake.haha i left it in for about 2 mins on the floor
is that long enough or shall i cut some more

that link isnt coming up.
whats it about

Is that the 30 litre tank? if so I have the same one although with a dwarf puffer in it.
If you have the undergravel filter in there, it wont work properly with sand. Also it is better to
use the spraybar as it provides more oxygen.

Squeezing the cycled foam wont work properly with an undergravel filter.

Edit: Sorry to sound negative, although the tank looks good! :good:

its a 28 ive just found out so about 5 gal. i have baloon molie fry in there and
cories are very sensitive to water conditions and he has been in over night.
im buying a internal filter today and i eather want a dwarf puffer or
i dont know.

Great tank, loving the budda!
It looks a similar size to what I have an AquaStart 320.
My tank currently holds 4 platies, a male and 3 female. I am waiting for some fry then I will put them back in my large tank.
