Got my new girls!

I just wanted to say that I have FINALY gotten my new kittens! I have lost my camera, but these are the pictures of them from the site I saw them on. They are 100x cuter in person.

This one is Sadie

and This one is Casey

Molly already likes them! They touched noses, and she didn't even hiss or growl!

I think they are a maine coon mix, as they have the tail shape, and some other maine coon features.

They are gorgeous and I am so glad you managed to get everything sorted! Where did you get them from in the end. I have a maine coon cross and she is lovely. I just love the maine coon characteristics and temperaments. Their personalities are unique too!

Sadie is my favorite as well. My brother found the camera, but I dont have the card, so I will have to find that, but I think that is in my printer.

We got them from a CT animal shelter place. She is originally from Ohio though.

None of the picture of sadie came in good.

We are taking them to the vet to get a third distempre shot just to be on the asfe side tommorow.

Were not sure as the face looks calico, but the body isnt so calico looking. More tortieish.

These cats are originally from Zanesville Ohio. I wonder why they would have shipped them to CT?

With a calico, there is a significant amount of white, and the two colors are broken up into distinct patches. This has to do with the interaction of white spotting.

With a tortoiseshell, the three colors are blended and don't form distinct patches. A tortoiseshell may have significant portions of white as well, but the remaining colors are blended (this particular pattern is called a tortoiseshell and white).

That's a bad picture from the web site. She has orangeish back legs, and orange spots on her face and ears.
