Fish Crazy
Well, as some of you know, I had to give away my blue gouramis because they were too fast for my lil 20G. I decided on dwarf gouramis to replace them, and was going to get a male and a female. (I even picked out their names ahead of time). Well, after doing some research, I decided to get 2 males because I have a really powerful hang on filter, and no breeding tank, and I didn't want the male to get all stressed and cranky because he wouldn't be able to build a sucessful bubble nest.
Today I went to the LFS and got two beautiful male (silvery blue with red stripes) dwarf gouramis. I put them in the tank and watched them for about an hour. They had a little discussion with a lot of curling and a little nipping, then decided that one would take the back half of the tank, and the other one would take the front half.
I guess I have to rename Gracie huh?
BTW, my tuxedo platy is just tickled pink that he has another gourami to hang with......
