Got Me Some New Angels And Platinums

Very nice, the platinum's are stunning.
In a 200l i would go for something like
4 Angels (if 2 pair you will have to get rid of the other 2 or they will bully then)
20 Cardinal tetra (Like neons but hardier and bigger so less likely to get eaten)
15 Corys
2 Keyholes or Red breasted acara

that would be a great looking tank IMO.

And couldn't the angels mistake the cardinals for neons?

If they both pair of then i think you will have to pick 1 pair and sell the other because the tanks not really big enough for 2 pairs because when they breed they can get quite nasty.
I doubt they would eat them because they look like neons because i doubt the recognise a neon it will just be by size weather they eat it or not.

Oh, I wasn't planning on breeding them, they're just for a community tank, will they still pair off if I dont breed them?

With 4 2 are very likely to pair and breed weather your trying to breed them or not. If you just want a community tank it would be best to stick to 1 if im honest.

Depends on the fish, Some just add waters and others are near impossible. Aslong as you pic the stocking carefully and no other big cichlids i dont see why you could have a breeding pair in a tank that size, or even if you do decide to rehome them you still have a good while yet before they will be big enough for breeding to be a worry.

Its the caring for the fry I cant really deal with at the moment, I dont have the time to do 15% water changes 2 times a day for 3 days a week, if that wasn't the case then i'd have no problem with it

Fair enough, you could just remove any eggs laid until you have the time to look after them.

Ahahah, that'll be a while I'm doing my GCSE's at the moment and i've also got a full time crested gecko breeding project, im up to my knees in reptiles waiting for them to grow to selling size and find homes for

Yeah ive got mine coming up this year aswell. Cool, im thinking about moving onto reps instead of fish. Im looking at getting a pair of Berber skinks but still not to sure. Good luck with the cresties

Thats an unusual choice of rep, still though, they're very nice looking I was thinking of getting a chahoua or two, I cant seem to find anyone who sells them though And thanks, Best of luck with the Berbers if you get them

Well i wanted something a little different to the normal berdies, leos ect and skinks seem like a good choose. From what ive heard there easy to handle, good temperament, fairly easy to care for and a bit different. They look great, never heard of them before. I quite like Tokay geckos but want something a little easier to handle. Cheers.

Well cresties are great to handle and pretty easy to care for, and if you ever wanted any then I have more than plenty

But im really hoping to get a chahoua soon, i've got everything set up for him, its tank's got my breeding cresties atm as Im still getting round to sorting their natural tank with substrate
And as common as they are nowa days, beardies have a certain charm for me

Ive got 10 cresties or so, I love BTS they're amazing
Yeah, I know what you mean about the beardies, theyre just too common now, but none the less, nice lizards

Some of the rarer morphs are quite nice but i would still prefer something a little different.

angels will only breed if the conditions are right, i breed them, but recently lost one of my males so having to start again with juvies. i would worrry too much, but as for your angels watch them because as they get older they will change in temp and possibly bully each other in which case i'd remove the most dominant as they will always be a pain in the a*s!! i have koi veils, gold extra long veil lace, zebra lace veil, and some chocolates and short finned koi atm
