GOT FISH

I got my rasboras...all 10 of them for $26

I got a female marble swordy....possibly pregnant....$3.60

I got a female black platy.....$3.30

So $32.90 later I am home with more fish than I set out to buy Surprise surprise huh

And that doesn't include the new non-aquarium light I bought on the way home

EDIT: I just let the harleys out of the bag into the 10gal quar tank (their new home for 2 weeks) and they are swimming around actively IN A SCHOOL (which is just what I wanted so I am pretty excited)

Congrats on the new fish. I have the same problem. I went to get some new plants for my tank the other day and ended up getting 4 new fish. I got 2 mollies, a swordie and another betta.

Yep, I always seem to come home with an extra betta No, I didn't buy it, the faries left it for me!

Somehow I knew you'd find a new swordie! I went to the lfs Thursday to get some more tetracycline and they had some awesome hi fin marigold wag swordies. If I didn't have so many tanks tied up with corys at the moment they would have come home with me!

Good luck with the "harleys". What colors are the marbled swordy?

I went to the LFS today to get water conditioner and came back to with electric yellow cichlids....I have never even owned a cichlid in my life, lol.

It's just too darn hard to resist their cute widdle fishy eyes... I went to the LPS the other day for meds and came out with 2 danios and 1 female betta as well!

What colors are the marbled swordy?

She has yellow with white (on her belly) and green and dark blue everywhere else.

She has been busy bossing the male swordy around. Shes a bit intimidated of my lyretail girl who is quite a lot bigger than her

My husband has decided that he should be the one to get the fish food when I run out. If I go to the lfs for food Icome out with something in a baggie...no telling what it might be, but there is always something.

It isn't my fault, the shop owner has his betta cups right there by the register! And he puts the other aquariums right there in that back room you have to get to if you walk down that hall, right where anyone who wants to look at fish can look at fish! How unfair is that?!
