Got A New Tank ;)

heya!

i got given a fully mature tank, with a BN pleco and 2 female bolivian rams

ive had it for 2 days now, but they wont eat anything =/

i tried frozen bloodworms, but they spit them straight out, then i gave them tetra protein granules, but they spat them out, i put zucchini and lettuce in, but nada from them!

what now?

sinking pellets?

try some tuna or tender beef that is soft. and coat it in garlic juice

i cant cook beef, im hindu =/

and no tuna lol!

my friend s gonna bring some in tommorow! so ill see how that goes lol

They are most likely still stressed from the move, you say its a mature tank, did you keep all the water from the move or have you used all new water?

i kept half water and also the filter media he had.

I put some pellets in today, they pecked at it, one tried to eat it whole LOL! but failed ^^

they seem happy now, and have colored up brilliantly!

Glad to hear they are doing better, just keep an eye on the water stats for the new week or so to make sure there is no ammonia or nitrIte spike from the move and you should be ok.
