Got A New Tank But Need Advice?

The tank is equivalent to two US ten gallon tanks stacked one on top of the other & will hold about 60 litres after substrate etc.
Too small for angels....

Being a planted tank nut, wow.........you could do alot with that tank.

Maybe a stump of driftwood......kinda mountain shaped with a bundh of hairgrass or microsword around it.

A couple small schools of neons or rasboras........

I wonder about the lighting.....what are you using right now?

Thanx for your thoughts guys :D

The lighting is a tube, 14 ins with a power glow bulb

So after reading what you mention about half and half, what do you think about using it for terrapins?

Thanx again

xx

PS Nelly is my brother, was just sayin hi to me......

Not big enough for any species of terrapin & these need specialised lighting.
I'd have a shoal of harlequin rasboras & a male Betta.
I have a similarly sized/proportioned hex tank which has bogwood & anubias. Loads of red ramshorn snails & a black/red crowntail Betta on the end of my kitchen worktop - it doesn't need any more fish.
