I recently picked up a 10gal tank on sale, so of course I had to divide it and put in the VT I've had and add a gorgeous new CT boy. He settled right in and started eating the day after I got him. He seems to be interested in his neighbor, but I think he's a little too young to start posturing and flaring. The VT on the other hand really seems to like the new guy. He is constantly prancing around the tank, and will flare occasionally, he's even bubblenesting again. So I've added some pics, hope you enjoy.

First piccies of the new boy, he's about half the size of the VT.

Gorgeous bettas! :D Congrats on the new guy-- he really is a cutie!! Your VT is very handsome too, he looks a lot like my Smooches. ^_^

Your new boy is absolutely beautiful! His neighbour is just like my Koi who (dont tell the others) is one of my favourites. My Koi is so feisty he flares and wiggles at me even if I say hello. They are such lovely fish! Congratulations!
Have they got names? :shout:

Woah, again. Is it me or is there ALOT of this exact colour CT going around in the USA? ive seen loads of them pop up on here recently :/ but nice fish though ;)

Bret

Bret, they are not exactly the same colour that is what I like about them..No 2 fish are the same!

ps I am a bit grumpy today!

 hmm , are they little worms in your gravel in the second pic , or roots or something

 They are roots, for some reason the manufaturers thought the silk plants would look more realistic with "roots" that look like worms. I was just too lazy to cut them off. I'm going to pick up a better light today (had to shine my lamp on the tank to get good pics), and eventually the tank will fully planted, just needed a quick fix to break up the line of sight.

They have no names, just Mr. Betta (or big boy) and Little Guy. I'm not really one for naming fish.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments, they reallly are gorgeous aren't they.
