Got A Delivery Today!

Well, I ordered some more killi's from the same breeder and I got some really nice specimens delivered today, here are some pics:

They almost look fake they have so much colors, What sort of treatment do they require? anything special? they really are stunning

They don't require anything too special. If you have a lot of them it's best to have a big tank as the males can become territorial towards each other, mine have been peaceful so far. The depth is not important as in the wild the are found in shallow water. In the wild they are usually found in slightly soft slightly acid water. Most fish today (and especially killi's, they are EXTREMELY easy to breed) are tank bred, so they are usually raised in neutral water conditions. Mine seem to flourish in my slightly soft water, with neutral Ph.

The only downside is most Killi's only live about 2 years, so if you buy a mature specimen that is 2-3 months old, you will only have them for less than 2 years.

Funny you should mention that, because next on my list is to get some peacock gudgeon's.

I've got some Scarlet Badis' coming next week (see pic below) then I want to get some peacocks.

Thats a sweet fish, I thought Peacock.g would look good with them.
