im so excited.this is the best my tank has ever looked lol.2 large pieces of mopani wood and a piece of bogwood with 2 large java ferns on it.fine black gravel and a black background to finish it off.will post some pics tomorrow.

congrates rixy
they are a great addition to anyones bichar collection :good:

thanks wolf.the delhezi is out and about all the time.hes more active than my senegal.delhezis are hard to find in cornwall.i got mine from trimar but its the first time ive seen them there.anyone else(except for b blondie lol) on the site who keeps them????if so,post some pics.

I've got a 10" delhezi, i dont have any pics at the moment as its a bit shy and only comes out with the tank lights off.

I was selling it a little while back but no one was interested in it.

damn,id have bought the delhezi off you cfc if id have known.if its ever for sale then let me know.my senegal and the delhezi are always out and about but my palmis polli is secretive.it only comes out when it smells grub lol.all my 3 eat those crappy jmc catfish pellets and they love them.i dont understand it????maybe the lfs fed them on this in the shop.i tryed everything on my old senegals and this was all they would ever eat.ahh well, they all eat like pigs.the delhezi is about 4 inches and thin.i bet it ate about 10-15 pellets today.it will be a monster in no time lol.

how long did it take to reach 10"?mine seem to be growing really slowly i might have to trade them in :(

Dels grow very slowly, mine's taking forever to grow. He's barely grown an inch since I got him, and considering how much he eats it's pretty irritating.

a year should see a worm turn in to a 10 incher no probs.i feed my fish a lot so they grow in to monsters in no time.my senegal was a 3-4 inch worm about 5 months ago.now its a 8 incher about as around as my thumb.trouble is,if your fish is shy,you dont know how much it eats.all my 3 bichirs and my 3 severums all eat in front of me so i can give everyone their fair share at feeding time.

here is abn old one of mine (with my P.palmas poli)
