My male gorami was timid and shy with all other fish...... Until my beta came. My beta is shy and likes to hide in the places provided, my gorami bullies him a lot. Im not sure but i think they have decided territories, they both stay on opposite sides of the tank . No one is hurt........ yet. If i add other fish after 1 week (cycling) will it help the social dynamics, what fish?

You have not stated which kind of Gourami it is. What size is the tank? Betta Splendens and Gourami's are very closely related (both Anabantoids) so they are often very aggressive to each other and are not recommended to be kept together. Whatever you do do NOT add a female Gourami or Betta as the poor thing will be harassed to death (literally) and the males will become even more aggressive towards each other in order to compete for her.

It is 25gallon, and a opaline gorami (4"). What i meant by adding fish,is other species.

I'm sorry but you should have done your research. Betta Splendens or the Siamese Fighting Fish attacks anything and everything that looks like or is related to it. The only options are to rehome your least favourite or to buy a second tank, they will never live happily in the same tank.
