Goodeid Fry As Big As A Endler

Fins can change colour from black to a yellowish it depends on what mood they are in or if there under a bit of stress

Nice picture of the atripinnis I recently picked up some Goodea gracilis and can't wait for the delivery. My Ameca splendens also deliver fry about that size but mine stay with their parents. I'm not sure my endlers would survive in the tank with my Amecas though. Meanwhile the Xenoophorus captivus dropped some fry that were almost that size a few days after I brought them home.

Iknow u said they was large but that's a joke!!!!!!!!

There larger than the endler. i've never seen G. aterapinnis late large, Also you said that the last brood was a similar size :)

I think You've got the goodeid bug lol
endlers can survive in the tank with Amecas / I don’t recommend it as we know Amecas will occasionally nip there fins however endlers can safely be kept with atripinnis.

You are quite correct. I do have a number of goodeids and am always on the lookout for more.
I also keep Heterandria formosa, Brachyrhaphis roseni, Limia melanogasters and Limia perugia. I even picked up a pair of killies, Aphyosemion bivittatum Funge, at a recent club meeting. Most of my tanks are single species and single location if I know it. The killies and Brachyrhaphis are new things I have not learned to work with yet but I soon will. In the meantime, the goodeids are among my favorites but most are not as pretty as the killies, Brachyrhaphis or even the Limias.

Brachyrhaphis are great fun :)

They will turn and eat the fry just like Gambusia
However they do not get all that large when their heavily pregnant. so it may take a couple of lots before you get anything.

However it 's like guppies after a while your know when their close just by looking,

still do not keep them with Alldontichthys as fish48 may explain soon :)
