what's a good, small algae eater for a 10 gal other than shrimp, snails, and otos? if i decide to go with otos, how many should i get? the only other fish is a female betta.

you need at least two ottos for them to be happy. othere then that i am not sure what else you can get for a ten gallon

A bunch of ottos takes up hardly any room because they are so small. A Bristlenose pleco would work too. They stay small enough and are very interesting to watch.

I have 2 borneo/butterfly suckerfish and they are great at keeping the glass clean but not ornaments or plants. they look great on the tank as they look like butterflies. They stay small 1 1/2 inch long.

not a BN pleco in a 10 gallon they can get 5 inches
