Good Shop Online

[justjon]

Hi guys, and girls!

I was wondering if anyone could reccomend a good value, good service store online?

All I am after at the moment is some sand for a tank-setup, and another small filter and a heater cover, but i'd prefer to get them online as my LFS doesn't have small bags of sand.

Ty.

I'm in the UK but in jersey, i think i looked at that and they didn't ship to me will check again though, do i need to rinse before putting it in?

Oh,

Thats the stuff. And yes, you still need to rinse it - though it cleans up much quicker than gravel IME.

Just tried, nope they don't deliver to me

You can get playsand from any garden centre, and a fair few supermarkets too. Anything for sandpits will be fine.

mine was £3 something from B and Q think it was about the same from homebase. just needs to clean it bit by bit , took me about 1 hour to do a bag of it.

I would get pool filter sand from a pool supply place.

As others have said, any playpit sand will do the job. If theres a Tesco's out there I think theirs sells for 99p a bag.

Alternatively look for Silver Sand, which you can pick up from most Garden Centres or DIY stores
