 Bad news: Cato, my oto, died. Again I think it is my fault. After he ate all the algea out of the tank I couldn't find anything he would eat. I tried algea wafers, zuccini, and cucumbers. No luck. Sorry Cato.

:good: Good news: All my betta babies are doing good. Charlie is almost all healed up from his fight with Fred. Filter-boy is doing well also. His color is really coming out. I have had him about 3 weeks, and about a week after I got him his color turned from a pale blue/green to a bright aqua color. My baby, Fauna is now in a small bowl here at my home. Once the temp drops I will take her back to work to her own tank. When I brought her home her stress stripes came back for about a day. After that her color is starting to come in. She is going to be beautiful!!!! She is a pale green, with blue and pink in her fins. When I put her bowl in front of Charlie and Filter-boy's tank there was a huge flare fest!!! Silly boys.

Oh and Cory, the cory cat, is at my brothers untill the heat breaks. (That is if my brother gives him back.) He will go back to sharing the tank with Fauna.

Sorry to hear about Cato. My otos go nuts for pleco algae wafers. I think they are Hikari. I guess you did all you could do eh? :(

Glad to hear the bettas are doing well and that Fauna is adjusted :D

I tried the Hikari wafers, another brand of wafers (I don't remember the brand), and aglea pellets. He wouldn't go near them. On the other hand Cory, loves the Hikari wafers. When I got him the lfs told me to try shrimp pellets, Cory wouln't eat them, but the algae wafers are a big hit. Who knew fish could be such picky eaters.
