Hello again, I was thinking of ordering a tank from Tenecor Custom Aquariums. If I get this tank, it will settle the whole 'breeding tank', 'pond', ect. discussion. This is the stats for the tank:
Shape: Rectangular
Size: 240 Gallon (96 x 24 x 24)
Configuration: Show Aquarium
Background: Deep Blue
Stand / Canopy: (None)
Lights: SunPaq (marine option)
Model: SP9635D
Qty: 4
Max Watts: 768
Total Price: $2379.00
Is it a good deal?
Or would it be better to build a pond or tank from scratch?
Cheers,
GobyMaster

you wont need that much light.
thats way too much.

is this going to be freshwater or slatwater?

if freshwater and not planted then you will only need like 200w of lighting not 700 something. if going planted you will need about half of whats there.

then you wont need to spend all that money on lighting, thats light for growing coral. you dont need that

Oh, really, sorry, didn't know that
After a quick update of the tank I came to these stats:
Shape: Rectangular
Size: 350 Gallon (96 x 36 x 24)
Configuration: Show Aquarium
Background: Deep Blue
Stand / Canopy: (None)
Finish:
Lights: Aqualight (fresh water option)
Model: AL9636D
Qty: 2
Max Watts: 384
Total Price: $2808.00

Is that better?
Cheers,
GobyMaster

alot better, altho i dont no about you but IMO the black backround option looks much better. i would think that would be a great deal.

Scwheet.
Now, I just need to get some money, buy the tank, build a stand and canopy, buy sand, plants, bogwood, rocks, filter(s), heater(s), fish, ect
I'll post some more when I get the chance, I have dinner in a few minutes.
Cheers,
GobyMaster
