I don't agree, these can be very aggressive and should have a bigger tank, even though they are little fish.Vip said:You could have African Shell Dwelling Cichlids in it.
Rams are quite small and produce very little waste. My LFS has about 3 of them in one of their 12 gallon display tanks, along with and assortment of endlers livebearers. The rams are very healthy, and I trust their judgement because of their level of fish expertise, which I have tested time and again.LoveMyOscar said:A pair of rams need a 20 gallon tank, 10 gallons each. Having kept cichlids most of my fish keeping days I can honestly say that no cichlid needs to be in a 10 gallon tank. Because of aggression and the amount of waste produced by some of them you need a larger tank than 10 gallons. I still say you need to stick with the smaller schooling fish such as neon tetras or you will be just asking for trouble.![]()
wrs I noticed that article suggests to put a bristlenose plec in a 10 gallon... definitely a big no-no.wrs said:bolivian rams need a 20 gallon tank,
