They were in pretty bad shape when I got them, so I’m happy they grew back nicely.

The tank is 40 gallons. I could have put them in a 55, but honestly they seem to like the smaller one better. The smallest fish has a bent spine, and has trouble swimming for a while after I got him. They actually lived in a small pond for a summer before a move, and unfortunately I found the small one has pretty stunted growth. I don’t think that they’ll get any bigger, but if so, they’ll have more space to swim if they need it.

My little brother named the orange one Flame, the one with blue scales Coral, and the little one Bengal
