Found this Goldfish tub in New Mexico and was wondering what are your thoughts on it. I suggested to my mom that we could do something like this for her and she said we might be able to. But what are your thoughts. Would it be ok outside? How hard would it be to maintain.

i think it would be good for fancies, or baby comets, but comets can outgrow that... maybe it can be a baby tank for a pond? or just 1 or 2 fancies. how many gallons?

Honestly i’d say 30 gallons max? Idk, can’t measure since i’m away from home.

yep! i think 1 or 2 fancies would be fine

I did something similar with an old stock watering tank. I raised up some "feeder" goldfish. I brought them in during the winter. Some lived twenty years.
