Goldfish Getting Red fins

hi iv got a goldfish that iv had for 3 years and is getting red paches on its fins. it dose not look like fin rot or any other desize in the books any idears please??

Does the redness look like blood?
This could be a stress problem. Have you added anything new to the tank such as a new fish or plants?
What are your water parameters (NitrIte, Ammonia, NitrAte and PH)?
Sorry for the questions but info like this will be helpful to try and find out the problem is.

We need to know this info e.g water parameters so we can gain an insight in to the conditions of your tank and what might be affecting the fish or causing them any harm. It could be a number of things and as with most things it is best to sort out the source of the problem before you treat the fish.

ITS A stress problem if it looks like plood vessels this is a sign of stress but sometings its a sighn that ur water is clean for the first time in years.

like if ur water is horrible and left that way for a long time then ur gold fish get used to that and the if u put it in a new tank with good water then that would stress ur fish out.
