Hi All,
I have 4 fancy goldfish and one of them I think has fungus on his tail.
I did separate him for a while in a spare 20liter tank and added salt but nothing happened.
Before doing above, I did put the treatment that bought from shop for fungus in the 190liters tank to treat them all as I was thinking it is contagious which apparently it is not.
That didn’t do anything .
I added salt (API salt) as heard that salt is good for them and will kill parasites but after 1 month his tail still have little small white dots( not ich ) and some part of the tail is splitted if you pay a close attention
I don’t want to do salt bath etc as that will be the last resort but what do you guys suggest to do?
Is it really fungus or the red small colours on back of his tail is normal? Tail colour changing ?
Also my bubble eye has little white fluffy think on his gill , is that also a cause of concern
