Goldfish Fins.

once again hello every1, in addition to my tropical community fish tank, i have a small 10g tank that houses 3 goldfish, one of which has recently showed sighs of being ill, his fin is lying flat on its back! what do i do!?

Sounds like clamped fins due to stress, that tank is way to small for three goldlfish what type are they, 20gal for the first goldfish, then ten gal for every other one, plus an excellent filter, as they are big waste producers, sounds like bad water quality i would do a 30% water change for now, plus get water tested at the lfs and tell them to write the readings down for you.

Sorry don't know that much about goldfish, but I do know that unless these are very small juviniles, you just can't keep 3 adult goldies in a 10 gallon tank

How long has the tank been set up ?
Do you know what your nitrite and ammonia readings are ?

It's most likely the water quality affecting the fish Any other signs of disease ?

Talking of a 40gal tank for those three fish, i would recommend a water change for now, and see if you can rehome them, or get a bigger tank.
