I thought turning off all the lights in the room would make the tank clearer, guess not. In another week Ill have a powerhead and a 28" bubble wall in so Ill have to take a better pic..... The little red white oranda by the bubbles I just got today to keep my fantial company

Lovely fish, although I personally dont agree with keeping them together, and your tank is going to be very overstocked. The plec alone needs a 75g if it's a common.

Like I said though, beautiful fish - just you need a bigger tank Like double that at least.

ya they wont be kept in a 55 forever, next tank I would like to have a 250gal, if things all go right, hopefully before the winter hits again

I have 2 other videos.. Them eating the plecos food grrr and one with the 28" bubble wall and power head I added. All that current though doesnt keep things still on the gravel for the pleco to get. Might have to turn off all air for feeding time

Nice tank, I think that your tank is perfect (other than the size as you mentioned) if you keep it at 22-24 degrees celcius.

My only major gripe is that poor lonely minnow, why not buy him some friends? I'm getting minnows when I set up my new tank .

What kind of filteration do you have on that tank? It seems you have possibly the messiest fish you could choose, a plec and lots of big goldfish (at tropical temperatures too!) .

Thanks, right now its 24c, highest 25c, I should prob turn the heater down 1 click now that I have all those bubbles.

As for the minnow, I had 3. My brother was using them to go fishing so I thought I would put some in and try it out . 1 died, one of the guys ate the other haha. I dunno if I should add more minnows atm being as maybe to many fish in just 4 feet of length, but I will definitely have a little minnow school when I get a bigger tank.

Haha ya, I did end up with the messy ones, its ok, I enjoy cleaning the gravel and putting in fresh clean water. As for filtration I have a Cascade 1000 canister.

Plecos been weird the past day or so, was stripped and looked like a tiger, now it looks like a cheetah.

He also likes to play in the air bubbles
