Just been to my local fish shop and saw some beautifull young Golden Severums was very tempted to buy them but i thought i'd do a bit of reseach first, this is a fish i have never kept before.
I think they will be ok in my tank but any comments are most welcome but i would realy like to know how would be a suitable number to keep and why?
Thanks in advance. :D

Tank size will help people advise you. :)

Sry its a 200 litre.

What else would be in the tank with them? I would say your tank isn't big enough for a pair to be in comfortably, especially if they don't 'pair' you could maybe consider rotkeil severums as they don't grow as big.

I have two 3inch golden severums and a oscar under 3inch in a 350ltr. Severums can grow to the same size as an full sized oscar so depending on what other fish you have in your tank its going to need to be bigger. I'm looking at a new 700ltr myself.
