Golden Gourami

Heyy,

Today I went to the fish store to get a couple of fish to add to my tank. From the start I was certain to get a gourami, but I didn't know what type. I saw a golden gourami in a tank and thought it was the best looking fish in the tank. So, I went home with a Female Golden Gourami and a BN pleco. The Golden Gourami is swimming around fine in my quarantine tank, after watching her for a while I have decided that she needs a friend. So, my question is can I get another golden gourami without them fighting and if so what sex should it be?

You should add another female of roughly the same size. What size is your tank? You might want to add a male as well but be forewarned, they can be very aggressive.
