How can i tell which is male and which is female (wanna start breeding these )

The easiest way to determine sex is by body shape...females will be bigger and rounder whereas males will be streamline...Males also tend to have more of a black pattern than females... As always mature fish are easier to sex.

I've never attempted to breed them so i'll stear clear....but theres lots of sites out there with info...google it and you'll get some good reading ..HIH

When adult, the females are noticeably larger then the males, wider and deeper bodied. The females show a sprinkling of black spots, the males more of a row of short almost vertical stripes. When in breeding condition, the males develop a pinkish red colouration in the abdomen, (it is useless to attempt spawning if that is not present).
