Gold & Green Severums

Hi,

I bought 2 very young green sevs at my LFS a few days ago.

Could green sevs cross breed with Gold sevs?
Can they even be kept together?

Yes they are the same just a color morph. So it's all good they will not be hybrids. As long as they get along it's fine severum can be kept with other severums if they want to. Some might be aggressive so just watch out. It should be fine.

As above, no problem, just different colour strain, providing of course, you have a large enough tank for them.

ok thanks guys! So my little green sevs have been acting weird to each other. the 1 with kind of whip the other one with its tail and then the other will bow its head and just like stair back at the other 1. What are they doing?

Sizing each other up. They are Kind of pushing eachother saying "hey you want go" "bring it on". But they don't really want to fight just trying to see who's bigger. Could be flirting too .

ya they don't peck eachother just doing what you said.just sizing eachother up.
I think i might get a gold sev after my green sevs get a bit bigger.
Oh! forgot to ask. When do they get some color? they both have bottom orange bottom fins.
There alittle bigger than 1"
