hay all hope everything is going good :)
I recently got a male and female gold gourami and the male seemes to be chasing the female a lot now and again she comes out into the open and they fine for about 1min but then he chases her and occasionally bites her and nip her Tail. he sometimes actually goes looking for her when she is hiding :/ I have heard the male gives the female trouble but is this normal she has plants and tubes to hide in.... is it a territory battle or spawning maybe or just Normal? thanks a bunch

I think there not a pair, So if they don't pair up soon the male will no doubt kill the female.

I'd keep an eye on them to see what happens.

thanks I will see how they doing tom afternoon do you think they could still pair even if they fight like This? I mean on a scale of one to ten its about 5/10 bad

p.s is this behaviour normal he has bitten her tail a bit and she is hiding I was thinking about it now and the behaviour only started once I started conditioning them for breeding 2 days ago with bloodworm but yet again I only got them on Sunday but the first 2days where fine :/
