I have been trying to figure out if my gold gourami is male or female. Someone was kind enough to post a pic and from that pic, I deducted that my fish was female. However, based on "her" territorialness and that the LFS said most gouramis sold were male (now they could never be wrong  ), I am wondering if I am right about the gender.

I took some digital pics and wondered if there is a way to post them so folks could take a look and tell me "her" gender for sure.

It is important I know before adding "her" to the 55g as I wish to add a pair of Pearls and if "she" is really a "he" I don't want to add a male Pearl to the mix. If she really is female, I will add a pair of Pearls (male and female) and a female Opaline. How does that sound?

Thanks for the pic posting help in advance!

You can go to the 'Member's Aquarium Pictures' section, and start a topic there. Then, in the Topic Starting page thingy, click the 'Browse' button near the bottom. Then find where you saved your picture. Click the picture name, and it should fill in the 'Browse' box. It should then come up as a picture, and you can link people from this forum, over there.

OR

You can use www.photobucket.com. First, you have to create an account (It's free) and then you click the 'Browse' button there, and find your picture. Then click Upload. It will come up, and under it will be 3 boxes with text. Copy the text in that bar, paste it on here, and it should show up as a picture! :)

If this was too confusing, or you need more help, feel free to ask me!
