Gold Gourami

I have two gouramis and one is constantly annoying the other will they both be males,i have nothing else in this tank should i split them up,the other one is under the ornament.

I once had 2 gold gouramiis. They are violent fish. One of my pushed my other actually into and up the filter pipe! This was in a 20 gallon. I got more to cycle my 55 gallon and although they were less violent, they still fought each other. I recommend a more docile species of gourami,but if you can't, you definately need more ornaments to block the bully's line of sight. Some plants or driftwood would work.

The one outside looks like a male. It's easy to tell as male has more pointed dorsal fin and female has rounded dorsal fin. I have 3 as well and my gold female is the Queen of the Gouramis. They don't bother other fishes, just amongst themselves.
