Gold Gourami 'compatibility'

Okay so today I strangely acquired 2 Gold Gouramis for my 125L tank which you can find out about here and I have decided to keep them for a while, until they get too big. Or I could just keep them, as 125L is kind of borderline...

Anyway, I've found out they're "semi-aggressive" and was just wondering how they would get on with my 7 Cardinal Tetras, 3 Rummynosed Tetra and Bristlenosed Plec.

Yes, you're going to shout at me for keeping them but I promise I will get rid if they become too big. Maybe you'll get lucky and I'll give them to one of you for free

...let's just be honest here. You fully chose to get these fish and never had any intention to not keep them. No one likes to be messed around with and it just makes people less willing to help when you ask questions...

They might be alright, they might not. I've only ever owned one three spot, and it was a very nasty fish.

I chose to get some Honey Gouramis, which are considerably smaller and not aggressive. I did tell the woman in the store twice that they weren't what I wanted and I was with my mum who was just going along with it all. I would have actually had to shout "NO. STOP." or something to stop her.

I have thought about getting rid of them straight away but that would obviously be a pain that might not be needed. I'm rather confused what the dig is about anyway.
